Who we are
A small care provider from Leeuwarden
Jermaine Sprott founded ZorgtVuldig and is your permanent point of contact. He agrees with you who your support worker will be. Besides himself, affiliated care professionals work with us, such as Thom Kamminga. This is how we support adults throughout Friesland who are in a complex situation. You have one regular support worker who knows you.

Why ZorgtVuldig
Why ZorgtVuldig exists
We support people who are having a hard time, often with several problems at once. The aim is a stable life, more independence and a place in society again. Everyone deserves that chance, also with a difficult past.
One regular support worker
You always deal with the same person. Jermaine agrees with you who that will be. You do not have to tell your story again and again.
Clear agreements
Together we make a support plan with goals you can reach. We regularly check whether it works and adjust it where needed.
Experience with complex situations
We have worked in a forensic psychiatric hospital (TBS clinic), with former detainees and in mental health care. A difficult past does not put us off. We are honest about what is and is not possible.
The founder
Jermaine Sprott
Founder and support worker
Jermaine has worked in care for almost 10 years, always with people in vulnerable and complex situations. He works in a forensic psychiatric hospital (TBS clinic) and with former detainees. Every day there is about behaviour, safety and returning to society.
Before that he worked as a group leader in youth care, forensic care, psychiatry, social care and mental health care (GGZ). There he learned to offer structure while showing understanding.
With ZorgtVuldig he brings that experience together. In his view, good support is clear and structured, with a support worker who is genuinely involved with the people he helps.

Thom Kamminga
Affiliated support worker
My name is Thom Kamminga. I have worked in youth care and care for people with disabilities for more than 10 years. I help clients become more stable and independent. Much of my experience comes from intensive youth care settings. There I worked with clients with complex behavioural and developmental problems.
Besides my work in care, I am a guest lecturer. I tell students about my experience in practice. We talk about behaviour and about the consequences of choices you make as a teenager or young adult.
Clients find me involved and clear. I build a bond quickly. When needed, I also dare to set limits. Together with the client I look calmly and honestly at what is needed to move forward. Everyone has their own story. That is why I always work in a personal way.
