Funding
How is my support funded?
Support from ZorgtVuldig is paid from a personal budget (PGB) or through a care provider we work for. You usually need an assessment first. Below you can read how that works.
Guide: what fits your situation?
Choose what applies to you.
What do you have at the moment?
This guide gives general information. The municipality or the care office decides if you are entitled to care.
Wmo: through the municipality
The Wmo covers support to live independently, fill your day and take part. You contact the Wmo desk or social team of your municipality.
Within six weeks, the municipality looks together with you at what you need. You may bring an independent client supporter free of charge. If you receive a Wmo decision for support, you can choose a PGB. With it you engage ZorgtVuldig yourself and pay for the support.
Every municipality has its own rules for a PGB. Ask your municipality which conditions apply, or call us. We will think along with you.
Wlz: through the care office
The Wlz is for people who permanently need care or supervision close by, with an assessment from the CIZ.
At home, this can be through a PGB, a full package at home (VPT) or a modular package at home (MPT). With a PGB you engage ZorgtVuldig yourself. If you want VPT or MPT, this runs through a care provider with a contract with the care office.
Forensic support
Forensic support runs through a criminal justice framework, for example a condition of supervision.
ZorgtVuldig is then engaged through the probation service or a therapist. Contact us and we will work it out together.
No assessment yet?

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the Wmo and the Wlz?
The Wmo is arranged by the municipality. It covers support so you can live independently and take part. The Wlz is for people who permanently need care or supervision close by. For that you need an assessment from the CIZ, and the care office arranges the care.
How do I apply for support from the municipality?
Contact the Wmo desk or social team of your municipality. The municipality looks together with you at what you need, within six weeks of your request at the latest. You may bring an independent client supporter free of charge. The municipality then makes a decision.
Does ZorgtVuldig also work with care in kind?
ZorgtVuldig works directly for clients with a PGB. You choose your own support worker and stay in control. Care in kind runs through a provider with a contract with the municipality. Not sure which form suits you? Call us and we will think along.
I don't have an assessment yet. What now?
Contact your municipality for support. We can help you prepare the conversation: what works, what doesn't and what help you are looking for.
