Who we support
Support for people with a criminal record
People who have been in contact with the justice system often have a lot to arrange at once: housing, income, debts and appointments with the probation service. We help you become and stay stable, with one permanent support worker.
Who is this support for?
For adults aged 18 and over with a criminal record who need support at home.
- You are leaving detention and rebuilding your life.
- You are supervised by the probation service or have special conditions.
- You want to avoid falling back into old patterns.
- You need help with housing, money or work.
What do we help with?
- Arranging housing, income and insurance
- Keeping track of post and bills
- A fixed daily structure and daytime activities
- Keeping appointments with the probation service and organisations
- A network that supports you
How we work
Honest and clear. We agree what we do and stick to it.
We work together with the probation service and others involved. At the start we discuss what information we share, with whom and why. That way you know where you stand.
Is there a forensic framework, such as a measure or supervision? Then also read our page on forensic support.
How is it paid for?
From a personal budget (PGB) under the Wmo or the Wlz. With a PGB you choose your own support worker.
Who supports you?
Jermaine Sprott works in a forensic psychiatric clinic and with former detainees. He knows the questions around rehabilitation from practice.

Who supports you?
Jermaine Sprott, founder of ZorgtVuldig, provides the support himself, is your fixed point of contact and agrees with you who supports you. He has worked in care for almost ten years, including in a forensic psychiatric hospital (TBS clinic) and with former detainees. Besides himself, affiliated care professionals work with us, such as Thom Kamminga, who has more than ten years of experience.

What is the difference with forensic support?
Forensic support is part of a sentence or measure, with supervision. This page is about everyone with a criminal record, also when supervision has ended.
Do you share information with the probation service?
Only what is necessary and agreed. At the start we discuss together what information we share and why.
How do I get in touch with you?
Through your probation officer, another referrer or yourself. Call or message us, or fill in the quickscan.
