Forensic support
Forensic ambulatory support
Support at home for adults with a forensic background, for example after detention, after TBS or as a condition of supervision. We work on stability, structure and a safe return, together with the probation service and therapist.
Who is it for?
For adults aged 18 and over who have been in contact with the justice system and need support at home.
- You have just been released from detention and need to rebuild your life.
- You have completed a TBS programme or are on probationary leave.
- You have a suspended sentence with special conditions.
- Your probation officer or therapist recommends support at home.
What do we work on?
We work on what you need to stay stable and prevent relapse.
- A fixed daily structure
- Housing and a calm home situation
- Work, education or daytime activities
- A supportive network
- Recognising risk signals, with a relapse prevention plan
- Keeping appointments with agencies
Working with partner organisations
We keep short lines with the probation service, your therapist and others involved.
We agree in advance how often and in what way we report. If we have concerns, we contact the partners involved straight away. That way everyone knows where they stand.
Safety and agreements
Clear agreements give peace of mind, for you and for the people around you.
We record agreements in the support plan and stick to them. Not every situation suits ambulatory support. Our exclusion criteria explain when we are not the right provider.
How do you get to us?
Through your probation officer or your therapist. Sometimes it is also possible through a PGB.
Support within a forensic programme depends on referral and funding. Contact us to discuss the options.
Experience of the support worker
Jermaine Sprott works in a TBS clinic and with former detainees. He knows the questions around behaviour, safety and rehabilitation from daily practice.

Who supports you?
Jermaine Sprott, founder of ZorgtVuldig, provides the support himself, is your fixed point of contact and agrees with you who supports you. He has worked in care for almost ten years, including in a forensic psychiatric hospital (TBS clinic) and with former detainees. Besides himself, affiliated care professionals work with us, such as Thom Kamminga, who has more than ten years of experience.
