Who we support
Support for young adults aged 18 and over
A lot changes when you turn 18. Youth care stops, and suddenly you have to take care of money, housing and appointments yourself. We help young adults aged 18 and over take that step well.
Who is this support for?
For young adults aged 18 and over who are (almost) living on their own and need help with it.
- Your youth care is stopping or has just stopped.
- You are moving out or have just started living alone.
- Money, post and health insurance are new to you.
- You want to find education, work or daytime activities.
What do we help with?
- Arranging health insurance, allowances and income
- Making a budget and paying bills
- Housekeeping and a daily rhythm
- School, work or daytime activities
- Contact with family and friends who support you
A good transition from youth care
Ideally we start before your youth care ends.
That way we can meet and make agreements with your current support worker, so you do not have to start over. We do not provide youth care: support starts from your 18th birthday.
How is it paid for?
From a personal budget (PGB) under the Wmo or the Wlz. With a PGB you choose your own support worker.
Who supports you?
You have one permanent support worker you can call or message when you get stuck.

Who supports you?
Jermaine Sprott, founder of ZorgtVuldig, provides the support himself, is your fixed point of contact and agrees with you who supports you. He has worked in care for almost ten years, including in a forensic psychiatric hospital (TBS clinic) and with former detainees. Besides himself, affiliated care professionals work with us, such as Thom Kamminga, who has more than ten years of experience.
